Education

Cody was born in Great Falls, Montana. After leaving Montana for Texas, he always held the goal of returning to his home state to use his education to make a positive impact on the community he cares about. While in Texas, Cody developed expertise working in the insurance industry for the fifth-largest insurance company in the country, where he gained valuable insights into the claims process.

While pursuing his Juris Doctorate at Texas Tech University, Cody focused on gaining the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve his goal of returning to Montana. He earned recognition for his top grades and extensive volunteer hours with the Legal Aid Society, providing free legal services to low-income individuals and families. During law school, he interned at a prominent Dallas firm, where he assisted with mass tort cases in federal court and gained essential experience in complex legal matters. He later worked for a large personal injury firm in Houston, helping individuals by employing the knowledge he gained while working in the insurance industry.
